Background
Our work in the Middle East inspired us to focus even more on youth activism in our work in Denmark. With this project we worked with youth self-expressions as a strategy for achieving a political voice. Rap has since its origin been used as a political instrument, and Rapolitics is very much committed to promoting this agenda.
Tomorrow Today
Tomorrow Today was a project with activities in Denmark. The young people who participated in the project's activities discussed youth activism and how young people can make themselves heard in a positive and creative way. The project consisted of a junior rap coach course, 35 workshops at schools and high schools, an intensive Playground-workshop for music students, visits from rappers from the Middle East, a project camp, a grant scheme with 10 grants, and a dialogue meeting with politicians in Copenhagen.
